Full steam ahead
We are pleased to confirm that all components for Hope have now been ordered and arranged, marking an important step forward in the project’s progression towards manufacture.
We anticipate commencing production this month for Hope’s enclosures, switch plates, and authentication crests. Alongside this, Hope’s PCBs are currently in manufacture, with carry cases likewise now in production, with both anticipated to reach completion in approximately a month.
Upon completion, both the PCBs and carry cases will be delivered to Dadesin, where they will be held pending completion of Hope’s enclosures, switch plates, and authentication crests. All components will then be shipped together, ensuring vendors receive each consignment complete and in one shipment.
Prototypes near completion
We are delighted to share that the first enclosure and switch plate prototypes for Reign are now in the final stages of production, representing a significant milestone as the project moves closer to its first physical form.
The reception to Reign since its unveiling has been exceptionally positive, and we have been deeply encouraged by the thoughtful feedback and enthusiasm it has received. Importantly, that feedback has played a meaningful role in shaping the project—influencing both the variants that will be offered, as well as a number of considered refinements that will help define the final design.
Among these changes, Reign will support EC PCBs from the second batch of prototypes onwards, broadening compatibility whilst preserving the integrity of the design. The USB port opening has also been enlarged to better accommodate cables fitted with CNC-machined connectors—a subtle but important refinement that reflects our continued focus on both practicality and detail.
To see Reign resonate so strongly at this early stage has been immensely rewarding, and we remain committed to refining every element with the same deliberate and uncompromising approach that shaped its original vision.
